ARDMORE, PA – June 22, 2016 – Nalls Architecture, Inc. announced that John D. Romano, AIA, recently joined the firm as a Senior Project Architect. A leader in the design and master planning of healthcare facilities, college and university buildings, his experience spans a wide variety of project types, including architecturally and historically significant buildings in urban, suburban, and rural locations. In his new role at NAI, he is responsible for ensuring coordination between the clients and the design team, oversight of project schedules, budgets, and the overall design and delivery process.
With more than 20 years of design and planning experience, he has expertise in the management of a range of project types including planning, supervising and coordinating the design process in all phases for feasibility, due diligence, building assessment reports, conceptual design, master planning, design development, production and delivery of construction documents for design-bid-build, construction manager at risk and design-build project delivery methods. Romano developed an impressive record of client success, championed numerous sustainable projects, and served in numerous leadership roles.

Romano received a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a licensed architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
